Originally designed and constructed to exacting Western standards for the personal use of the owner's family and friends we would now like to open the villa to anyone that is seeking a luxurious accommodation in the privacy of a villa residence as an alternative to routine holiday/hotel vacations.

With three rice harvests per year the Balinese rice paddies always offer ever-changing, fascinating and enjoyable scenes a stone's throw from the Villa. The local farmers are happy to reciprocate interest in their daily lives, always keen to meet new faces.
Villa Surya
is an oasis of tranquility near the traditional working village of Jasri, cradled on one side by low mountains offering a spectacular view of Mt. Agung and surrounded on three sides by emerald green paddy fields cut by a quick-flowing river. It has a large 20 meter infinity swimming pool built using native green stone and surrounded by a freshwater plant and fish habitat containing many sorts of fish, some edible.
The villa has been constructed with a loving care for detail and luxury, use of local talent and materials but with the main focus always being to stay as close to the world of Balinese natural beauty and culture as possible.
Villa Surya is conveniently located 8 kilometers from Candi Dasa with all its restaurants and night clubs, 2km. from the serenity of the Water Palace at Ujung, five minutes from the Hardys shopping center in Amlapura for some of those western shopping necessities, and a half hour to some of the best diving on the island at Amed.
The villa itself is comprised of a large airy living room with dining area, deep cushioned seating in Balinese style for relaxing and watching TV or DVDs. There are also two spacious airconditioned suites with fantastic views each with its own large ensuite Balinese style open air bathroom/shower covered in natural stone.The Suites

The Pool Suite features a dressing room between the ensuite restroom and bedroom. Sliding doors lead onto the pool deck/mezzanine and give access to the 60 sq. meter main living room, also with a small bathroom and entrance to the kitchen at the rear of the house.
The Mezzanine Suite is accessed from the pool deck over a short, curved staircase leading to the upstairs viewing terrace. The upstairs ensuite bathroom has its own small private balcony with stunning views to the local mountains and is an excellent place from which to admire our 2 house temples.
